Tsugumi Yagi (八木 鶫 Yagi Tsugumi), nicknamed Tsugu-chan, is one of the characters of Hai-Furi. She is the Telegraph personnel of the ship who is quite skilled in communication.

- The name Tsugumi means "pail" (鶫).
- Tsugumi's surname Yagi means "eight" (八) (ya) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki/gi).
Trivia[]
- Tsugumi family runs Suwa Shrine, which is the same shrine where Mashiro Munetani lost her mother's captain hat due to a blowing wind after she told them of her intent to quit being a Blue Mermaid and becoming a teacher at the Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School.
